Each was wrapped in bubble wrap & then the box was filled with cardboard cuttings, making each box very heavy. A little awkward to remove the pedestal without spilling the cardboard but they did their job in protecting the pedestals in transit. I'm impressed with my purchases, not only for value for money but also I'm sure they will keep their excellent appearance. Quality items don't come cheap!
