    Very satisfied with this drill/driver. I was worried that as a 1/2" drive drill it might be too large and unwieldy but I already had an 18V charger and battery suitable for this model so I went for it. Very glad I did, because it's a nice size, not too big, not too small. Works as it is supposed to.

    Compact, relatively quiet, comfortable, powerful

    Upgraded from an old corded skil drill, wow! This can do everything the corded skil can but at about half the size and considerably less noisy, plus the added bonus of cordless and quick charge time on the battery. The electronic brake is a big hit for me, means driving screws less chance of overdrive when you stop the drill

    Just as expected.

    I have been using Makita cordless drills since I got my 9V drill back in the 80's and have never been without one since. I have had other brands as well, some have been decent but Makita just keeps getting better. I have only used this one for a short while but based on past experience it will give me long hard service. I have an identical drill driver set at work. I just needed one at home.

    Typical Makita quality

    The drill is brand new and i.expect it to work for decades just like my 1/4 impact driver. I have always been a fan of Makita so I will pay a little more for their products since they perform and hold up for the long haul.

    Best drill driver in my experience

    Have owned other cordless drill/drivers. This one beats them all. Light, well balanced, powerful. I've used it to drive Grabber framing screws. Put a 5.0 AmpHr battery in it and it runs all day with juice to spare.
