    these are nice for shade but as you go up in % of darkness also the weight goes up. I used 1/8" stainless and crimps and had a time of it getting the cables tight enough over 58' span. The gromets in the corners or next to the corners will tear if you pull to hard getting it tight and flat. I used a 1/2" heavy wall pipe at each end to attach the grometts to and then used cables at each end to pull equally. Worked a little better but these are made for low or no wind areas.
