    Great clock, looks and sounds nice. Runs for long time, almost a week at a time. Easy to adjust. Dial and hands are hard to read.

    It took a while to adjust the pendulum for accurate time keeping, but once that's done, it has been very accurate. The only downside is that the dial and hands are hard to read. Maybe a lamp and a white wall would make it easier to read, don't put this clock in a dark corner.

    I have wanted one of these for years and when I saw the eBay price I purchased. The clock is attractive and has a soft gentle tick. The bell tone is nice as well and although you can not shut it off it should not wake you unless very near your bedroom. You regulate the time by turning a knob on the pendulum...once you get within 2-3 seconds per day let the clock run a few days and make small adjustments.. In this way you can get very accurate time. I have heard that with proper cleaning and oiling these clocks are capable of running 100 years!...It is worth noting the Lester and Stamford models have a upgraded heavy duty movement. For obvious reasons this style clock may not be the best choice for very dusty environment like garage or work shop without extra cleaning intervals

    A marvelous bargain on an elegant clock

    Very elegant clock. Am extremely happy with it. The long pendulum creates a nice, slow, relaxing tick-tock sound. Surprised to get such a nice clock at such a low price.

    Chiming is so weak ;you can only hear it if your ear is next to mechanism.

    The chime is weak. It is barely loud enough to hear. I bought this chiming clock just hear the chimes. Disappointing.
