    These litium batteries have three posts, a positive, negative, and in the center, a charge temperature monitor. This charger only has the positive and negative posts. Eliminating the charge temp monitor is inviting a runaway fire in the battery. The savings in manufacture is far outweighed by the potential for a serious fire. Made in China...go figure.
