    H3 gm thermostat

    Runs cooler,temp is back like when the car still new, after market thermostat runs hotter,I recommend going back to gm parts for your hummer

    Dumb place to put a thermostat

    For the first 100 years of automotive engineering positioning the thermostat on the top intake of the engine worked perfectly fine . So now it is located in the bottom discharge hose rendering a 10 minute quick fix for any semi- skilled weekend warrior into a possible nightmare . Why it is located there is beyond me when there is abundant room and ease of access in the top hose area , not to mention since heat rises it would be at this point in the circulation of the cooling system to sense the most accurate temperature of the engine to control. Bravo to the engineer that designed this headache!!
