    OK, but had some problems.

    What I had problems with is the C clip I could not get it to stay on. The first problem was I had to compress the outside washer with vise grips on both sides so i could get the C clip to go into the groove. When it did go into the groove it was a loose fit, so I got pliers and squeezed the ends of the C clip together. I was hoping that would fix it. I still felt uneasy about it so I drilled a small hole on the end beside the C clip and put a cotter pin in it. If the clip would fall out I have a backup now. Also the shifter assembly had to be removed from my car. to work on it right the exhaust and driveshaft were in the way. I have a 2003 Cadillac CTS. The part looks like it is built good and is a good price. I never used a C type clip that looked or worked the one that is used. I was a ...

    Great Repair Item

    I tried finding a replacement link but settled on repairing mine. This works very well. I suppose it's built originally to wear out so this should hold up for a while. Thanks for someone having the idea to replace an item that was poorly designed to begin with.
