This Pentax SMC DA SDM IF AL lens is a solid rotary zoom Pentax camera lens. With a 17-70 mm f/4.0 lens such as the Pentax SMC DA SDM IF AL lens, one can take both extreme wide-angle and medium telephoto shots with a wide depth of field. Its focal length is equivalent to approximately 1 inch to 4.13 inches in terms of 35 mm APS. Picture quality is consistently sharp at the center and at the corners with this Pentax camera lens, and vignetting is low compared to other lenses in its class. The magnification ratio is 1:3.2, and the minimum aperture setting is f/22. Other features of this lens are quick-shift focusing and a fast and quiet autofocus function thanks to its supersonic drive motor (SDM). This 17-70 mm f/4.0 lens weighs 17 ounces and is relatively light for this type of lens. It measures 3.68 inches long by 2.95 inches at its widest diameter, with a filter diameter of 67 mm.
