However there was a crack in the barrel that I didn't see until I received the pen. When I reviewed the original posting photos, the crack actually was visible so I just missed it. A note in the description would have been helpful but it is possible that the seller didn't see it either. I can not complain because I paid such a low price for it. This lamp is dated "1955" into the cast base and it is in almost mint condition by my reckoning. It is everything I was looking for, ebay does it again. Seller kindly accepted my offer and it was a bargain. Recommend this seller without question.
