    okay phone, great purchase

    the body and hardware are great, but theres a problem with inserting the SIM card, bad design. once the card is in though no problems with it. its "overheated" twice since I got it 2.5 weeks ago, causing the system to crash and reboot over the next 5-10 minutes. have had some issues with the 8gb storage, but a micro SD card should fix this. all in all though, I love it. its my first smartphone so I cant say im experienced in rating, but this is what ive got. lastly going just based on the stats, its better than every phone within $100 of it. ive done my research on this, believe me.

    Kyocera Hydro Wave

    I got a good price on this phone but thought it would be easy to unlock the phone being the main selling point was clean IMEI but I was mistaken there. I also do not like the sim card holder and permanent battery and almost and only 4gig of internal storage the system uses the remainder of 8gig total.. I can say if I was looking for a reasonable priced phone I would stay clear of this model.

    Better Than Expected - Great Phone for the Price

    I have two of these for my two daughters. They do everything we need. Play movies without issue. Send/Receive calls fine. Connects to the internet via both G3 and Wi Fi with no problems. Makes calls over Wi Fi automatically when possible. Most important to me is it is water resistant and shock resistant. With a 3 and 7 year old, these two features were the main selling point. The shock and water resistance have been put to the test and the phones have passed without issue.

    Nice phone at a great price

    After getting used to it I like this phone a lot. There are differences between the Wave and the Life it replaced one being the zoom function for the camera is operated by the volume button on the Wave, no big deal just some little differences like that to get used to. The Wave is a little bigger but still slides into the phone pocket of my jeans. Another plus is the water resistance. I will never own another phone that dies if you spill coffee on it or drop it in a puddle or fumble it into the bottom of the boat while fishing so if for no other reason this phone is a great value.

    Phone has bad glitch where SIM and SD card go in.

    As soon as I tried to put the SIM card in, the part that is supposed to help you put in the SIM card and SD card broke. This is a horrible phone.It's not a good buy.
