  • Great mid range solar charge controller

I bought six of these and mated each one to two 300 watt panels in series. I then paralleled all of the outputs together and sent it to 6 battle born 12 volt 100 amp hour batteries that were series/paralleled to make a 24 volt bank. I’m completely off grid and they charge the bank to full by 2 pm in November on a sunny day. I had tried those super cheap pwm charge controllers, but they were worthless, not charging the bank even after a full day of sun. I bought one of the Bluetooth modules to plug into each one one at a time to get more detailed settings and records. Without the Bluetooth module it is still very easy to set them up with the buttons and lcd. I’m very happy with their performance after about a month of full time use.

  • Excellent choice for a charge controller

Great product, especially like the boost feature as I'm still getting power generation with virtually no light left in the sky and the sun behind the panels. Obviously not much power in those conditions as the available power is very low. Took one apart, nice board layout with conformal coating. Parts are even rated for the appropriate voltage go figure. Bit crazy on the rtv so I'd recommend they back off on that as too much can cause heat issues. All in all though quite happy.

  • I will not ever buy another brand !

I bought 2 of these and they run between 15 and 20 Amps each. They charge my 1500Ah battery pack in 3 hours full sun. Half the day if cloudy or raining / snowing. Tip* don't buy cheap and expect amazing, sometimes knock offs are exactly that. I was running less Amp hours on different batteries with a PWM controller and always felt it was not as good as it could be. After upgrading to these I seen a awesome difference, changed my battery pack thinking it would help alot too. Wow what a difference, I go to sleep with 12.6 and wake up to 12.4 while having tvs till midnight, lights all night on, and fridge running. BUY them !!

  • Reno by rover mppt

I am very happy with this unit, it was easy to install and setup. It is charging well. When I checked it the next day the battery was at 100%. I have also bought a 3000 watt inverter from Renogy that is to be installed next. I’m going to wait a while to see how the controller works, although it should be great. This was installed in our toy hauler trailer. We do a lot of dry camping.🏕🏕

  • Great product, could be one step better!

I upgraded to this from a generic Chinese PWM charger, and the difference is night and day, ha, ha, see what i did there. Seriously this charges my batteries a good 50% faster. High quality build, easy installation. I do have one complaint. Why the Load terminals? These would be better utilized if you could hook up CT's to the charge controller in order for it to keep track of what is coming out of your batteries, i.e., the load on the batteries. As it is you hook up 12V stuff that you want to turn on at night, but hook up what? The terminals are too small to hook up even a small 1000 watt inverter. The correct cable size doesn't fit. Because of this these terminals are basically useless, thus you have no tracking of what comes out of your batteries, only what goes in. Bad design in my ...
