There are some light scuffs and scratches, but they can mostly only be seen by holding a light up to them. There is a rub mark from where the thread rubs against the machine while coming down from the top mechanism to the needle. I show this clearly in the video, right after I finish showing the stitch, and also in the last two pictures. See for yourself in the pictures and video. The metallic table seems to be in very good condition without any major scratches or flaws. The pedal seems to be in good shape, save for a couple scuffs from being a foot pedal, and works smoothly through its range of motion without binding. The cases for the service kit/presser feet, spools and plates, and carrying case have some scuffs and scratches, and are a bit dirty, but are in overall good shape. The machine operates as it should, as far as I can tell - see video. There may be some minor discoloring to the table or body, but not enough to highlight.”

"You can't go wrong with a Bernina 1090 sewing machine"
I have owned a Bernina 1090 for 33 years with no problems. Recently at the end of a quilting class - a classmate decided to pull a tarp out from under the chair in which my sewing machine case was sitting on and dumped my sewing machine upside down on the floor. It has been in the shop being repaired. I decided to check Ebay for a used sewing machine and found one just like mine in fabulous shape - I purchased it.I have owned a Bernina 1090 for 33 years with no problems. 1090 BERNINA sewing machine
As soon as I received the machine I tested it I am a quilter and my machine has to be strong and in good working order I will be sewing on a quilt this week, I will put it to a good test. I am very happy so far. The packaging was great no damage to machine
