    Excellent History for Little Kids and their Grandmas

    Well, this book was a nice surprise! Whenever you want to learn about something you think you don't know anything about, it's sometimes good to start with a children's book on the subject. I had never heard of a world history text for youngsters of elementary age before. I sent a copy (not found on eBay) to my young grandchildren. But before I sent it, I looked at it myself. The narration was simple and reader-friendly without being wimpy - and I found myself learning things about world history that I vaguely had heard of but never really had a handle on! Wasn't I supposed to have learned this stuff long ago in school? Maybe I wasn't taught it - or maybe I didn't care to learn it. It might have been both. I became so interested in the basics of world history that I bought a copy ...
