    This kit was good it was really to install coming from someone who doesn’t know much. Installed this on a 1996 Silverado the window motor coming down is really fast but going up it’s kind of slow but might just need some grease on the rails was kind of hard to roll up even before they were installed so I don’t think it was the kits faulty would recommend this kit.

    Works Great!!

    when I first looked at this, I thought "there's no way this can work", but it does. I need to qualify my statements. My manual windows were very easy to operate. This kit has more than enough power to operate my window cranks. Saying all this the installation does not look factory but I really did not expect it to look factory. There are two weak links that I see could be an issue (they have not been an issue so far and I installed this a month ago). All the current for the windows run through switches not through relays and that could over time cause a problem with bad switches. Especially if youngsters are involved by holding the switch up or down after the windows has reached the stops. It is also possible that the manufacturer places a current limit on the motors but I did not ...

    motor is weak and plastic is weak

    i was excited to finally put power windows into my truck but after i installed the kit into the drivers side it was sluggish and sounded weak so i lubed up all the moving parts of the assembly but did not make much difference so as i was going to put my window up for the final time that night the plastic teeth of the crank adapter striped out causing me to have to uninstall the entire kit and roll up the window with a pair of pliers perhaps this kit would work better with a smaller car with a lighter window but for a full size pickup i would not recommend

    Pretty easy to install and lasts years

    I bought a car 4 years ago that had one of these retrofitted nearest before that. It was sluggish already when I bought the car, but one of the windows only just now failed completely. I ordered this replacement, the exact product, installed it easily, and am very happy with how it works. It was very inexpensive, which more than makes up for the fact that it is not quite as durable as native power windows. I like that there are many different sizes of each component and that it can be custom tailored to the particular vehicle.

    I would’ve given 5 stars if the directions were useful in any way. Poorly written with little detail. The kit has enough adapters to fit about anything. The harness is easy to understand. Overall, I’d buy them again.
