Some reviews suggested the improvement over normal stereo headphones made mono was a revelation. I didn't find it so, there was an improvement but small. But as time has gone on the increase in soundstage has become more and more apparent as my brain attunes. Build quality is excellent, the phones are tight but comfortable (I've had some long listening sessions). The price is good for the components. Will be buying a 2nd pair!

Speaking as someone who is devoted to music but who suddenly developed severe tinnitus in one ear, I can honestly describe 2E1 as a life-saver. For my own requirements, I did need to make one adaptation, which was to buy a pair of 30dB Peltor ear defenders and replace the hollowed out, 'dummy' side of 2E1 with something more substantial. I now have one spare 30dB ear defender, and have not hesitated in ordering another 2E1 !

I’ve never been able to hear out of my deaf ear, so I can’t tell you the difference, but the sound is Amazing. I love them. I listen to just about everything with them. I don’t go anywhere without them. I actually listened to a Prince concert, and OMG I must have hit replay a thousand times. Definitely ordering again soon. The Seller answered every question, even though it took me like a year to purchase lol. Very informative. Thank you so much ❤️
