    great scope!

    I would like to say something bad about this scope to keep them as my private score! But the truth is they are a great scope . Just follower the instructions on how to mount them. As most problems are from people NOT FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!! The diopter is huge for quick pick up of target. And they are crystal clear. With wonderful eye relief. Good luck with your next build or rescoping your old build.

    Budget glass for an AR

    I mounted this Vortex Crossfire on my AR. I needed some glass for my old eyes. This scope has great eye relief with a full sight picture. Very clear I might add. So far I like it very much and would consider getting another Vortex again. I like this model because it doesn’t have the illuminated cross hair. No batteries to go dead. They mostly all have that now, but this one is old school, which is ok with me. If you get one for an AR, I recommend getting a tactical rail mount also. Standard rings won’t give you enough night to for the front sight not to interfere. For the money this will do me just fine!

    An inexpensive alternative

    The optic is clear and the lines are sharp. The adjustment knobs are positive as well. I bought this scope for my little 22 and it is just a little 22 needed. I don't think a larger magnification will do any better. It is light and fairly tough little scope. However, I would like it even more if it was made here in the good old USA.

    VORTEX builds 'em right!

    I have owned many scopes since I began hunting back in 1971. Most were okay but TASCO models never held up for very long with the recoil of my big game rifles. In contrast, VORTEX builds 'em right! This scope is IDEAL for the average hunter because it is sturdy and has a very bright lens for those shots at dusk or dawn shots that seem to be common for me.

    Great, Dedicated .22 LR Scope!

    I have Vortex Optics on all my AR/MSR pattern rifles. They are all the best scopes for the money I've ever had. The Crossfire II is a dedicated .22 LR 2X7X32mm scope that is perfect in Vortex 1" High Scope Rings on my Smith & Wesson M&P 1522.
