The good news is a couple hardware store washers and then using an abrasive wheel for ten minutes on the handle and head and it's perfect.

I contacted the seller he put in a tracking request and the device arrived 4 days later. Without the seller's help it would probably still be traveling in circles around the country.. The seller was great blame the late delivery strictly on the USPS.
