Nice quality, sturdy replacement spigot
The spigots that come with beverage containers always end up breaking or leaking. Although this spigot cost almost as much as the beverage container, why keep replacing them and getting another flimsy spigot? I purchased this for my older CreativeWare beverage container. The round ring seal and metal ring were just a touch too big for the indented opening on the outside of my container. I was still able to tighten it enough to use it without the metal ring on the outside and may be able to shave a little off the sides of the metal ring the next time. Manufacturer: please list as many exact dimensions as possible and you will sell more!The spigots that come with beverage containers always end up breaking or leaking. Good build, faulty o-rings
Overall, the build quality of the dispenser is excellent. It feels really solid, and the valve turns very smoothly. However, the dispenser weak point is the two cone-shaped silicone o-rings used to seal both sides of the hole. Because they are cone-shaped, they only make contact with the container wall along a single line. No matter how much you tighten the nut that compresses the two sides together, there will always be wobble when handling the spigot, and when there's wobble, the spigot leaks. I had to retain my old o-ring, which was a single piece with lips on both sides of the container, to get this spigot to work well. Safe, non-toxic, good quality spigot
Easy and quick to install. Fits Anchor Hocking Beverage dispensers. Does not leak. Good quality. The only minor fault is that the inside of the spigot is rough, not smooth. Particles in juices may hang up in it. It would not be easy to clean.

Very good value with no leaks!
Washers provided are very thick, resilient, and pliable (perhaps silicone?), allowing leak-free fit to a variety of tank diameters. Tightening by hand was enough to ensure leak-free fit for my application. Stainless steel construction is high quality. I appreciate the quick 1/4 turn valve. This is a durable, high-quality item that is well worth the price.

Replacing a Tap
This SS tap is a good replacement for those cheap plastic taps that come with the gallon sun tea jugs, and, in my case, a great replacement for one of those more expensive 2/3 gallon beverage dispensers you would use for a party or a wedding, where chromed plastic just doesn't look like it matches the dispenser. This $10 SS tap makes that dispenser look and feel much more elegant than the cheap plastic one .....
