    The CPU came with about 20 bent pins due to poor packaging. The plastic holder for the CPU was not taped shut so the CPU must of got the bent pins along the way with the USPS. So technically the item was not as described. I was able to fix the bent pins on the 5950x and the processor worked but it made me waste a whole hour of my time.

    Apologies for this issue. I explicitly bought an AMD CPU clamshell case to ship this in, but it must have opened during shipping. I am glad you were able to restore it and that it is working. I'll be packing future CPUs with better adhesives in the future (and also I am grateful that both Intel and AMD no longer have pins on their modern CPUs).
