It is hard to get right, but it can be done if you take your time and use the mounting screw to pull it into place. If you mess it up, don't blame the seller :)

All told, this kit got me access to a high performance dry operation pump that can boil water at room temperature (18 torr, lower is better) at a 75% budget reduction compared to a brand new pump. VERY pleased.
