No clue as to what it was for. 2. One of the holes drilled into the carb for mounting the air cleaner base was not drilled into the correct position. Since I am using the carb as is, it in not fair to accept the refund. However, I appreciate the seller very promptly responding and willing to issue the refund.Condition of carb was new and is working on my mower for two weeks .
