The original with the plastic gear set up stripped out and I replaced it with the cable style. The cable style snapped a couple years after installation. this car is seldom used and the rear windows used even less… I went back to the original plastic gear style in the hopes that it lasts a lot longer than the cheap cable style. Only time will tell now!
