Due to the small inner diameter of the camera diopter disk, the eyecup must be made with a small diameter outer hole in order to fit down into the disk groove. It's made the way it's needed, to fit the factory design, and fit tight so it won't ever fall off. Any other way would be inferior. Thank you.
