      Good OEM part

      Original part, works great. Excellent price. Old part was blocked and impossible to remove without breaking it. Cleaned out the valve body with CLR, put it back together, works fine. Took a few days to get the part, but free shipping - who could complain?

      Do it yourself and save with this part

      Got the job done. I thought I had a problem at first when water would only dribble out of the hot side. Then I did something dangerous I started to think. If this is a pressure balancer and I have the cold water line turned off, maybe it is trying to adjust for the flow. I was right, just as soon as I turned on the cold it worked fine. The lesson is DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE.
