Heavy steel construction—they will not break easily, like I do with most pens. Thick and heavy, and the glossy purple finish looks like it’s a foot deep. I put cartridges in, and began writing immediately. I’m super excited to use them. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of these pens, and the company got them sent very quickly. So happy with this deal, I will definitely buy from this company again. Thanks again!
