    Can't beat the price

    Sigma definitely improved over their old 28-300mm when they came out with this DG version. Size was reduced and pictures with the digital cameras went up. I attach this lens on my Canon 6D and I do not need another lens !! The price can't be beat ( save hundreds over the Canon version ) only thing lacking is OS(optical stabilization)....but price goes up. If you keep your prints to 4X6 you won't be able to see the difference
