    Plug and play, straight forward to use with a good colour screen. Easy to use function buttons.

    great product, I was left scratching my head, then this turned up, problems solved. It took all the guess work out of the equation in less than 10 minutes. It saved me changing parts just for the sake of it and needless to say saved money. Best fifty pounds ever spent. It does cover a plethora of cars and is easy to use. A mechanic I am defiantly not, It did give me the confidence to have a go and saved a small fortune in garage bills. Would recommend, it is compact and pretty rugged and is easily stored in the glove box. No batteries needed just plug and play.

    Not a good product

    Not a good diagnostic tool. Reads codes but not in depth. So it would tell you there's a problem but no further information. Other scan tools tell you a lot more about what caused it. I.e I had a problem with the glow plug relay, but independent its a glow plugs that was faulty cause a fault at the relay. If you are experienced buy £250 min diagnostic tool from tools.

    I think this will save me time and money in the future. Good product.

    After an automatic software update to my car the engine management warning light came on. The dealer wanted £60.00 just to put it on their diagnostic unit. I knew it couldn’t be much of a problem so I thought I would see if I could sort it myself. I bought the NT301 connected to the car which immediately diagnosed the supposed fault, I cleared the fault which was easy to do with the unit and the management warning light was extinguished. I have run the car for over 1000 miles and the light has not come back on so as I thought it was all due to the software glitch. So I now have the NY301 for the next time this happens and won’t have to pay dealer prices just to clear the fault.

    Money saving tool

    Easy to use and will save you money. Takes out the guess work, good icons and nice display. updated mine through windows 10 with no problems. Its lightweight and give you confidence in the repairs you might need to carry out. I had one problem which i sorted out with this tool and the scanner basically paid for itself. I fitted new part. if your engine light is on this will tell you why giving you the opportunity to correct the actual fault.

    Good build competitive price

    It is a good quality build and controls function well. I tried first on jag Xs but I believe manufacturer has blocked some functions. Will try next on defender fingers crossed it gives better results. An improvement would be a carry bag or case.
