      QUALITY PRODUCT FOR A REASONABLE PRICE

      A little more expensive than the monoammonium phosphate powders, it will not leave a residue when used. Solid metal castings and handle - real quality over the cheaper models popular at the big box stores. Beware of the “K” brand which has been recalled because of manufacturing defects! I had one of the “K” brands explode in my home.

      Hope I never need to use it, but happy thus far.

      I bought this for my air cooled Porsche with the intent to mount it under the passenger seat. I bought a powder fire extinguisher prior to this, but since read that the powder can be corrosive to a lot of the the metal of the car if used. Conversely, the halon will not corrode the metal, so I upgraded. It arrived within a week of purchase and is sitting beautifully where I wanted it. It comes with a nice quick release mount that bolted right up to the bar I fabricated. It certainly gives a more racy vibe to the car and I think this thing adds like 5hp, lol. Overall I'm happy with it, and I hope I never have to write an addendum to this review on the performance of it.

      Small-lightweight-worked great in actual emergency

      Had one 4 years ago and was used at actual fully involved engine car fire. No body thought it would work but fire was extinguished within 2 minutes or less. Best part no residual damage to either wiring or paint on firewall. An excellent product.

      You Need One Of These

      Worth it if you need it !!!

      These are expensive but this was best price I found and way less than the local shop. I had the unfortunate experiance of having to use the one in my race truck when the carb flooded and backfired. It put the fuel fire out in two squirts. You may wonder if the extra expense is worth it but trust me, if you ever have to use it you will be glad you don't have all the dry chemical to clean up !! I bought this exact same one to put in our other car.
