The black cut throat is the stainless steel blade. I love this cut throat blade. As like the other blade, this cut throat has a longer base on the blade for a more comfortable and confident grip. I can go from one finger on top to two or even three fingers, the longer base makes a big difference. I really like the light handle, just the right weight. I Highly recommend this cut throat for beginners and experienced.
