The root balls were wrapped in newspaper and then overwrapped in plastic. They were secured to the box with cord, to prevent any bouncing around. When I unwrapped and planted them, I found that moisture crystals were also included inside the newspaper. As they were quite small, I clearly marked their locations to monitor and water them.
