    Defiant daylight timer

    The programmable options allowed me to program the exact schedule I wanted - turns on at dusk and turns off at 4:00am everyday. The button on the front allows a one touch override to turn the lights on/off for one cycle of the program. The LCD temporarily glows blue when manually turning the lights on/off. Despite No battery, the program and clock remain set when the power is cut. My only complaint is that the brightness of the LCD foreground numbers is too low - hard to see even with the blue backlight - see pictures. Beware if you plan to install as a three-way that powers an LED bulb, it will fail - switch the bulb to incandescent and the three-way will work. Overall satisfied - I installed two of these.

    App no longer supports this timer switch

    This was great for the last 10 years until just recently about a month ago the app is no longer supported so this is pretty much useless at this point. Had to replace all my timer switches, I suggest Honeywell, they’re great!

    Nice switch, once understood is easy to install

    A good programmable switch. Easy to program and install, once the instructions are understood. I'm sure easy if you are an electrician. First one took a little time studying, other two went fast.

    Good but....

    Make sure your wiring has more than 2 wires on your old switch because this will not work unless you do as per the written instructions. .

    Great little timer switch with neat options.

    This self-adjusting timer switch is great. It says it’s a set-and-forget timer. Automatically adjusts to and from DST and also calculates Dawn and Dusk times for your location. I am watching to see if it does as promised. Simple install and set-up. Well pleased.
