The Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E545 model 20B20011US is a high powered, fast, and versatile laptop computer. Housed in a slim black protective case, this laptop has been specially designed with the video or film professional in mind. That's why the system has two video output ports and a DVD burner made precisely for this purpose.The Lenovo E545 uses an AMD A6-5350M dual-core processor running at 2.9 GHz clock speed for its CPU. It has 4GB of DDR3 memory onboard and 320GB of storage on the hard drive. There are also an enormous number of communications options available, including Bluetooth and four separate USB connections. Three are USB 3.0 ports and one is USB 2.0 port. Wireless Internet connection is standard with the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge series of laptops. There is also a Kensington Lock Security Slot for physical security, a 4 in 1 card reader, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. A port for VGA monitors and a port for HDMI connections complete the package.The outer case of the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E545 laptop is textured to resemble the look and feel of rubber. This makes it comfortable to the touch and easy to grab hold of. The laptop weighs 5.4 pounds. The lid opens and closes on sturdily reinforced double hinges, and the case is designed for durability. The lid of the Lenovo can be unlatched and swung open to reveal a beautiful 15.6-inch full-color display screen. This display offers 1,366 by 768 pixels. You won't have to search for the right angle to see your screen with the non-reflective matte coating. A Radeon HD 8450G graphics card powers the graphics action. There is also a powerful integral speaker system mounted near the hinged edge. It is more than loud enough to play music while you work or let you watch a movie with friends.The full-sized keyboard hardware is robust and well designed. The ergonomic, curved keys allow you to type comfortably even for long durations. There is also a TrackPoint pointer stick in the center of the keyboard and a textured click pad directly below it. This means that there are two sets of mouse keys right there in easy reach for extra convenience. A large number of integral system options can be controlled from the keyboard using hotkeys. For example, you can change display properties and control your music player directly with function key combos.This Lenovo Notebook laptop comes with the Windows 8 operating system installed. It can also be used for your preference of Windows 7 or Windows 10 OS. It is compatible with almost all Windows software, and it excels with video gaming and graphics. The 48 Wh Lithium-Ion battery holds more than enough electrical power to work for hours on a single charge. There is also a 720p webcam installed above the screen, so you can make videos and chat with your friends.

    E545 Dream Machine

    It has the best combination of devices, so that you can use one laptop for many purposes. DVD-RW ensures backward compatibility with all types of optical discs Micro-SD makes moving photos SO easy, it just registers as another drive in Windows Explorer. Plenty of USB slots. Big bonus is the dual HDMI/VGA out which operates automatically just by plugging in the cord. I love the calculator button right on the keyboard! Also the dual WIFI (With Bluetooth) and Ethernet cable ports so you can connect with whomever, wherever. My suggestions - 1. Get an E545 with a quad core or at least a dual core 2.1-2.9 GHz. Single core processors are no longer workable for internet communications. You need to be running Norton to prevent attacks and theft of data. In order to do this you need dual or ...
