      Rock "N" Roll Chain Lube

      Needed some chain lube and ordered this product just to try something different. I've had problems with chain skip so I hoped this product would buy me some time until I get a new drive train. It has worked excellent! It is time to get a new chain, cassette and chainrings, but for now, I've had no chain skip whatsoever. I've ridden nearly 300 mi using this product, including climbing in high gear with no problems. Easy to use and has performed great! There's plenty of lube options out there, but this is the best one I've used.

      New formula works OK, but requires frequent application.

      I first used this product in 2012. At that time it was a different formulation, which worked very well and one application would last 500-1000 miles. This new formula seems to work just as well, but requires much more frequent application to the chain, every 100-200 miles or so.

      Best lube for my ride

      This "Red" lube is the best for the type of desert riding that I do. At times the wind can blow sand that seems to cling to everything.

      RNR Red - First 150 miles

      Applied per instructions. Very new chain but original lube used up/washed out and was applying Teflon but was not lasting. RNR lasted about 150 miles in a totally dry environment. Seemed slightly noisier than immediately after initial application. Added again this morning, per bottle instructions. Chain was quieter so it seems about 150 miles in a dry condition may be the right timing but I think it may get slightly longer as I use it more. The small test bottle of 4 oz. won't last because I ride about 15 miles per day, 5 to six days a week. Will buy a larger bottle next time. I do not plan on using this bike in wet conditions. Note I did wipe the chain and sprockets twice after the initial application and after riding a couple of times, maybe after 45 or 60 miles. So basically I applied, ...

      Nice and sweet

      You have to shake well and frequent, but once you do this and apply it, you're in business. Once it curred overnight the chain was dry and left no residue. The drive train was quiet and smooth.
