The problem I had is with the design of the item - it is substantially too large in outer diameter (It is listed to be used on a Meade ETX-125). This knob hits the forks of my ETX-125 as the tube goes towards vertical. That's a no-no that experienced ETX users know could result in stripped gears in the mount (not so good if you didn't notice this right away). I am going to have to cut it down. Seller needs to redesign this smaller!

It would have been better if it had both a smaller plastic knob for use for fast focusing as well as the larger gear for fine focusing. As it is currently designed, I would recommend something else instead.
