Not too wide but plenty wide enough and with just a few file strokes went right in. No wiggle on the bottom and goes right into the slide notch perfectly after fitting. I have tried a number of the higher priced safeties but just could not get comfortable on my Fusion Reaction in .45, they are either too wide or have a lot of wiggle in the off position. This one required no modification. Perfect!
