    Works well for me

    The first time I used it the battery only lasted about 15 minutes, probably because I was using the higher speed the whole time. I learned that I didn’t need high speed to do most of my trimming. My yard is over ½ acre so it takes almost 2 batteries to complete. Not a problem since my cordless drill uses the same batteries and I have several. I just stick an extra one in my pocket and go to it. It’s nice not having to fool with mixing gas and oil and it’s much quieter than my 2-cycle trimmer. Obviously it doesn’t have the power of my gas trimmer but so far it’s done everything I need it to do. The edger does a nice job and the wheel keeps the string at the optimum distance. I really like that the shaft and handle are adjustable. I’m 6’6” and my back would hurt after using the gas ...

    Fast, Easy, & Convenient

    I was having trouble deciding between a pushbutton feed or this automatic feed until I found a good deal on this unit. SO glad I went with LST522. The automatic feed plus speed and power of this unit cuts my time trimming in 1/3. What used to take an hour, now takes 20 minutes. Plenty of power for cutting through tough clumps of weeds or grasses. Love the adjustable shaft length and handle angle. Should adjust well enough for even very short users, and it's light enough to be easy on my carpal tunnel. Small, lightweight but powerful battery charges quickly, but have never needed to charge to complete my trimming. Edging runs through line very quickly, so have some extra handy if you do a lot of edging. LST522 is a great timesaving upgrade for anyone. Highly recommended.

    Does a very good job edging. Not too heavy. The battery doesn't last very long. We have other 20V Black and Decker products with the same size battery so we can have 2 or 3 batteries ready to use.
