    Verified purchase
    The item was advertised as new, which means in an original, unopened package. This was clearly not new as half the protective packaging was missing, product manual was missing, there were obvious signs of previous use, was dented, and the bean hopper lid was broken. Seller did insure the shipment so we’re working through the claims process but for now they have my money and I don’t have the advertised product. Pictures show all of this. I’ll update this if anything changes vis-a-vis the claim.

    Portable Evap cooler

    This is a great product. I was really impressed with the way it worked. Remember, it is not an air conditioning unit, so don't expect 70 degrees from it. We us it in my cabin to just take the edge off a hot day. Well made product that is super easy to clean.

    Over engineered

    I rebuild small portable evap coolers. Mostly hessaire. Bought half a dozen of these. Grossly complex, over engineered and prone to breakdown. Avoid. Difficult to disassemble, even harder to put back with interlocking close tolerance plastic tabs. Plus is is an energy hog at 235w on low cool. On top of everything else it is a lousy cooler. Needs twice the pad surface area it has, pump is weak and tends to drool. Get a hessaire mc37 Half the price Twice th ed cooling 1/3 the energy

    Exactly what I needed.

    Of course the heat spell ended once the swap cooler arrived. It does work exactly as we expected and deliver was very quick. We are ready the next the time we have a heat wave.

    Does what I wanted it to do

    Bought this for use in the garage on those hot summer days here in the desert. A friend of mine had a similar one & saw how his cooled the room down. The fact it is on rollers is helpful & the remote makes it ideal; if I am not getting enough cooling or too much, I can adjust it without moving it. A very useful purchase for my needs.
