      The Tudors

      No captions available at all on these disks. At times it is very difficult to hear and understand what the characters are saying. You have to be satisfied with understanding the gist the story and rely on your knowledge of history. Had I known there were no subtitles, I would not have purchased. Also, one of the disks paused while we were watching (Season 1). I don't know how this could be with a brand new and unused series. We did a clean sweep of our DVD player, but the pause was still there when we ran it again...same spot.

      NO C/C

      Spent good money for a set of DVD's I was SURE I would enjoy. No way to get to the closed captioning..even though it says right on the 1st screen it's there.....no menu, no popup, no automatic ......since I am DEAF....I must have the closed captioning to view DVD's. I thought there was a law or something? This is a recent series. It should have access to C/C .....is there something I am missing?? My daughter tried it in her player since mine is older...nope...she couldn't figure out how to access it either! HUGE BUMMER for me!

      Great product, no subtitles

      This is one of my all time, favorite shows. I used to watch it on Netflix and was so bummed when they took it off! So glad I found this set for an amazing price. The only down fall is it says ( on the DVD menu) that subtitles are available and I cannot for the life of my figure out how to turn them on. I am addicted to using subtitles but, it is what it is, but still love the show!
