It will not stop flashing red fast flashing indicates a faulty battery. I need to send it back to you for replacement. The leaf blower is no good to me with a faulty battery. I have a Black & Decker 20 volt drill with the same battery. The leaf blower works very well. My problem is with the new battery. It will not take a charge. The charger is not the problem. I want to return the battery.
