It has a red LED on the plug so you know when it's powered. I bought the 12V 1A model to use as a power supply for a Mofi 4500 V2 and it works well for my purpose. The seller communicated very well and sent lots of shipping updates. I'm very happy with my purchase! :)

There’s no need to buy a larger transformer than needed. Watts divided by volts equals amps needed. Remember to leave some safety factor, amps wise. I bought the 2 amp for a few feet. All that’s needed!

The only negative was that USPS was used. USPS never updates package location status, and either leaves a package somewhere for days or weeks before moving it, or takes it on a ride across country. It should not take 2 weeks for a parcel less then 1/2 LBS to go from SoCal to Las Vegas. 4 days MAX
