      Rapido Coupler Replacement Product

      This is a relatively inexpensive way to replace Rapido couplers that has a more realistic appearence. They couple relatively reliably with Micro-Trains couplers. They will not fit all Rapido coupler pockets; some Rapido coupler pockets are too shallow to allow these Kato couplers to seat,

      These Katos are more to scale and realistic than most other brands and assemble easily as there are only 2 parts to them. No special tools are required for assembly or installation... just remove the old toy couplers and snap these in

      Kato knuckle couplers

      Looks good (a lot better than rapido). But still not quite the same detail as kadee/MTL. But a lot cheaper. Seems to work fine with the knuckle couplers on my 2 Bachmann locomotives and model power loco.

      real looking couplers

      if you want an alternative to the microtrain couplers, I suggest you look at these, they look very real life and alot better than the rapido couplers, these will also couple to cars that have the microtrain couplers installed, good quality and alot cheaper alternative too !
