Blade is thin and slices well, 14c28n is a good all around steel & is considered the best budget steel by many. Came sealed in its plastic package so was in brand new condition. All in all is a nice looking knife and great deal at this price. Only minor issue is I'm not a huge fan of the smooth metal handles, some texture would help you grip better.
