Oversized cardboard protected the edges of the books and provided a stiff package like you want to see when you buy comic books. The shipping cost was well worth the amount of care that was put into the packing. The books were as described, but the browning of the paper was more than I would have liked. The value of this set of books was preserved by the packing. Overall ok.
