      Brand New Leica 21-24-28 Viewfinder at a great Price

      I purchased a Voitlander 21mm f4 pancake lens for my Leica M (262) and needed a viewfinder. The Leica 21mm Viewfinder costs more than twice the cost of the lens. Leica viewfinders are the only viewfinders that are offset to compensate for the hot shoe not being centered over the lens. I've read some negative reviews on the Leica 21-24-28 Viewfinder for the Trip Elmar lens. I found this viewfinder to work well with the 21mm and didn't have any issues composing photographs as others have cited. There is some slight distortion but very usable and I found no issues. The cost of this finder is almost 4X less than the Leica 21mm brightline finder. You can save a lot with this finder plus it will work with your 24mm and 28mm lenses. I think its a very good value

      How good is it?

      It is compact and bright but it has vast distortion that could make it hard to frame your shot. But still, it is worth it because two less viewfinders to carry with me around. Good for casual shooting but not for precise framing purposes.
