    Needed 4 more mic inputs. This fit the bill.

    Needed 4 additional inputs to accommodate a few extra voices at a jam session this past weekend. This fit the bill perfectly. Shure builds quality products that were designed for the broadcast world and potential hazards with remote work.

    You could do better

    Mine was bought used. There is a hum that would be unacceptable for filming or recording music. The preamp is weak even with condenser microphones and phantom power. The Phantom power puts even more hum in.

    Simple but effective...

    Our community band needed a simple microphone mixer for our smaller gigs. Too much trouble to haul out the big sound board for every job. This mixer was affordably priced and works great for mixing 2 to 4 microphones.
