    Handy Little Tool

    If you like jalapeno peppers and want to turn down the heat by getting the seeds out, buy this tool ASAP! It's Norpro, so the quality is on the money, so no issues there. One thing to keep in mind, if you are going to core the peppers, buy the 'straightest' peppers to can find. If they curve slightly, the serrated edge can come through the skin at the curve. The reason for 4 stars is that you can release the pepper core from the sides with the tool, but you need a butter knife to dislodge the core from the bottom of the pepper to then remove it. I made cream cheese & cheddar stuffed peppers and needed them completely empty. Awesome tool to have in the drawer!

    Not bad, but a bit disappointed

    It only works on med to large sized jalapenos. Smaller ones, no way! I was chugging along coring the jalapenos when I went to cut them open I discovered they still had their noses. When you twirl the corer it doesn't cut down all the way to the bottom where the point is. Had to still use the knife there, but nonetheless it's better than the other way!

    great gadget

    This little gadget makes quick work of coring peppers. I love making peppers stuffed with cream cheese on the grill, but coring the peppers was always time consuming. This little gadget speeds things up alot. Its well made, fits the hand well, and easy to use and clean.

    Jalapeño corer

    Good tool / gadget. But, you need to be selective when buying peppers. It only works well on large diameter peppers. Blows the sides out of smaller ones. Also leaves some of the pethy part in the end which makes the poppers a little hotter.
