They are nice and solid, have heavy duty screws with washers, good padding, and the adjustable center bar locks snuggly in place where you position it with the levers attached on either side. They fit on my car’s crossbars. All that’s left for me to do is see how the kayaks fit on them but I’m not worried. They should rest comfortably on the J-bars, and they came with 2 straps to help keep them from moving. Assembly instructions were easy.
