    This is the 5th Garmin auto GPS that I purchased in the last 17 years. The DriveSmart 55 that it replaces is still working perfectly well but I wanted a larger screen so I upgraded to the DriveSmart 76. It's very familiar to me because of my previous Garmin GPS experience. There are a few additional features and can take a larger memory card but everything else remains the same. My learning curve is near zero. I love it.

    Garmen vs generic brand GPS, Garmin wins hands down.

    We tried a different type of GPS to save a little money and found it totally difficult to use and the units battery was defective and would not hold a charge. There was little information availiable for directions on how to use the unit in the instructions or online. I decided to purchase this Garmin. The instruction manual could have been better but I was able to go online and clarify any information that I needed. The Garmin works like a charm and We are happy with it.
