The listing stated the pickups are in “new other: open box” condition but in reality they are in heavily used and abused condition barely worth half the price he charged. The seller tried to blame the damage on the shipping which is ridiculous given the original packing and the state of the pickups - HEAVILY USED. Avoid!

There were nice-looking, less expensive options but I do not buy Chinese goods and I considered this a very good deal from a US seller. That said, it is not perfect and I did not expect it to be for the price. The frets will require dressing and there is evidence that the fret ends were hastily cut, marking the edge of the fretboard. All our necks have frets seated and leveled with a 14” beam, then recrowned—they’re playable out of the box. A guitar tuned to pitch exerts ~200lbs; wood needs to acclimate. We recommend building the guitar, stringing it, and checking it a week later.
