    Epson WF-2660 Fan

    When my home printer decided it would only print in "light blue" ink (that was barely legible), I decided to replace it. At work I use the Epson WF-2660, so I purchased the exact same model for my home. Setting up the printer was quick, the price was reasonable (and probably less than I would have paid to repair my old printer), and the copies look great.

    Some great, Some not so good

    Most functions require several steps to complete. 1) Printing - You need to have the correct settings on each page to print. Shifting from letter to legal and back again is not an easy process, involving both the computer AND THE PRINTER! Not as simple as select paper size. Also how you want to print the page (Color, Vivid Color, Blackscale,) has to be checked every time. 2) Scanning - hard to set up, but when complete, and if you don't change anything (docs to photos), does a nice job. VERY FAST SCANNING! As with printing, make sure to change page sizes as necessary. 3) Seems to use ink fast.

    Money well spent

    Needed a replacement printer and for the money spent the WF 2660 is a real value. Print speed is sufficiently fast and color quality is good enough for my aged eyes; double sided printing is a plus.

    My best printer yet

    I love this printer. I've been using it now for 6 months and it is superb. It almost runs the inks dry, so no waste and they last for ages. Wireless setup is a dream, and wireless scanning too is so easy.

    Received inoperable - had to repair to use it

    Overall I've been pleased with the machine AFTER I REPAIRED IT, When the machine arrived a scanner error came up, upon opening the upper assemble to actually see the scanner it only contained SUB-ASSEMBLIES. Mechanism itself had separated screws, gears and actual scanner itself all were loose inside. After just over an hour figuring out what went where and crossing my fingers it worked okay.
